Juley 12 (Monday) - America's Great Outdoors Youth Listening Session at Quality Inn & Conference Center (7838 Hwy 281) from 4:30-6pm.

July 20 (Tuesday) - NEFU Presentation on Economic Development Opportunities from Wind & Renewable Energy  for the Northeast Nebraska Network at Albion Country Club from 10am-Noon. Open to public.

July 21 (Wednesday) - Stop the TransCanada Pipeline Summit at NET Studio (1800 N 33rd St) in Lincoln from 6-8pm. More details at www.facebook.com/boldnebraska.

July 23-24 (Friday/Saturday) - Center For Rural Affairs 2010 Renewable Energy Fair Bus Tour & Conference in Lyons.  NEFU will give an update on climate/energy legislation & wind energy in Nebraska on Saturday.

July 27 (Tuesday) - Wind Energy & Economic Development in the Panhandle: A Forum on our Future. NEFU/Center For Rural Affairs & other sponsors will hold a wind energy informational meeting with a panel of speakers in Scotts Bluff at the Harms Advanced Technology Center (Room A103) on the campus of Western Nebraska Community College (2620 College Park)from 7-9pm.

 

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER

August 27 (Friday) - Department of Justice listening session on concentration in the livestock industry.
This workshop will address beef, hog and other animal sectors. Likely issues for discussion are concentration in livestock markets, buyer power and enforcement of the Packers and Stockyards Act. The event is on the Colorado State campus in Fort Collins, CO. More details TBA. Call if interested in attending.

August 27 - September 6 - NEFU/Nebraska Wind Working Group Booths at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island in Ag Hall.

September 14-16 - NEFU/Nebraska Wind Working Group Booths at Husker Harvest Days.
